Stonemasons Rescue Woman From Burning Van In Nashua, NH

NASHUA, NH (CBS) – Joshua Parker, David Sampson and Jose Palacios were hard at work on a new patio when they were startled by a crash.

“We heard a loud bang,” said Parker. “We walked around the corner and noticed a minivan pinned up against a tree. There was a small fire under the hood.”

The men jumped into action. Dave and Jose pulled the screaming woman from the driver’s seat. Josh noticed a car seat in the back and looked for a child, but the driver was alone. Soon the car was engulfed in flames.

“In retrospect, it was pretty scary,” said Sampson. “We just happened to be there, at the right place at the right time.”

The driver is identified as 35-year-old Suzanne Winslow of Nashua. Family members tell WBZ-TV she had surgery today for a fractured hip. She also has a lacerated…
